Bell Bug

Crawling out of some far reaches of the mind, these cool bugs were created using the bell housing from the back of an electric motor used in farm agriculture.  The jaws and the leg segments were cut from plate steel with a plasma cutter.  The wild eye balls are made of stainless steel, and were used as handles on heavy equipment.
